Bonbombhair was born from a simple belief – hair isn’t just style, it’s identity, emotion, and confidence. Our founders, a passionate team of hairstylists from Manipur, saw a gap in Chennai’s beauty scene: people loved their hair, but they didn’t always have experts who loved it just as much.
What started as a dream became the first-ever Northeast-owned hair salon in the city, built for people who don’t want just a service, but an experience. Bonbombhair was created for those who:

The Couple Behind Bon Bomb Hair
Bonbombhair is the dream of a young couple from Manipur who turned their shared love for hair into a brand that celebrates beauty with passion and artistry.
Lucy journey began when she first came to Chennai and stepped into Toni & Guy. What started as curiosity soon became a calling. With dedication, skill, and an eye for detail, she rose through the ranks to become a Creative Director, refining her craft with every client she touched. She always dreamed of creating a space where hair could be treated with both technique and heart – her personal touch in every transformation.
Her husband, Siam, shared the same love for the world of hair and beauty. Together, they turned that shared passion into something bigger. In 2022, Bonbombhair was founded – not just as a salon, but as a reflection of their journey, culture, creativity, and commitment to people who truly love their hair.
Today, their dream continues to grow in Adyar, blending Northeast artistry with Chennai’s vibrant style.
